 Cowboy
life:
You will see the everyday workings of the ranch and participate
if you like. In the summer, most of the activities go
on at the summer ranch but the rest of the time, we are
busy working the ranch. You can pitch hay in the winter,
chop thistles, help mend fences or put out minerals for
the cows in the Spring. Feel free to grab a shovel and
join us.
Winter is our calving
season and it is awesome to watch calves explore the
world for the first time. So if birth is happening,
join us quietly to get a sneak peak of this fascinating
event. We brand
in May and you may come to watch that
whole process.
I have three goats,
two of which we acquired
12 years ago. They roam the
hills with the cows
and eat forage and brush. They love
woody stem
plants and climbing on rocks. My goats are
now
part of the wildlife of the canyon.
