Picking
Fruit:
We pick blackberries with our kids until we are full almost
every morning in the summer. I love seeing their purple
little fingers and faces asking me if we have enough picked
to make jam. We can’t ever seem to get there!
Playing
on the Ranch: Your kids will love to catch frogs in the creek
and pick up sticks and drag them along or throw rocks
in the creek. My kids would love to play with them or
take them on some of our usual kid-friendly hikes. Sometimes
we have an orphan calf. Your kids can bottle feed the
calf and the calf will love all the attention your kids
can stand.
Farm
Animals: Your kids will love our animals. And, our animals
love kids! We have cows, goats, chickens and all sorts
of little critters running around the ranch. And, in the
Spring, there is likely to be a whole bunch of calves,
chicks, ducklings and other cute little babies!
